I can't even describe how thrilled I am for my friends Jon & Celia! They are expecting the arrival of their TWIN GIRLS in just a few short weeks. I remember praying for these two to have a baby... and now God has given them two at once! I still can't believe it and love God's sense of humor. What a delight these two girls will be to their mommy and daddy. And don't you agree that Celia is just rockin' that sweet bump?! Love this beautiful mama!
Oh I can just taste the warmth on the horizon... Chicago has almost made it through the long dreary winter months. I'm looking back with fondness to this senior session we caught on a beautiful fall day just before the cold settled in. Rebekah has the cutest laugh and the most piercing blue eyes. And isn't she a natural in front of the camera?

We couldn't have asked for better weather on a November evening- the perfect golden sun and pictures that just scream beautiful fall. Feeling all the warm fuzzies in spite of the cold rain hitting Chicago right now. Ahhh take me back!
Well, I think it's time to introduce my little family on here... meet the two guys that are my deepest joy, my husband Austin and our little guy Wyatt. Austin and I met in college, started dating while I was in grad school, and got married the summer after he graduated. We have been married four years- the best four years! And this past year has been one of the most exciting yet as well welcomed our son Wyatt. I always knew I wanted to be a mom, but I never quite knew how MUCH of a delight being a mommy would be!
I also want to say thank you to all the families that have supported me pursuing this passion of mine as I've stepped away from a full time job and into being a mommy and part time photographer this past year. I absolutely love getting to spend my days with Wyatt and doing the momma nap-time (and late into the night) hustle to deliver my best work to you all. Again, thank you- you've made this possible!

Oh goodness.... this boy is seriously such a happy chunk of sweetness! This baby is so very loved and adored and you can just tell by his happy personality. Isn't he just so kissable with his baby smooshiness!? I know, I know, that isn't even a real word, but you know what I'm talking about, right?
And I'll admit it.... I actually squealed out loud of happiness as I was opening these images to edit (this happens quite often!). I just love my job and love capturing these beautiful moments!
PIES! Ohhhh my.... The last few years it has become a tradition for Leah to bring a chocolate cream pie for Thanksgiving. As if I didn't love Thanksgiving already... now it's even better! I don't know how anyone can resist the decadence of a homemade chocolate cream pie (my absolute favorite if you couldn't tell by now!).

Nicholas, Derrick, and Bradley... One year later and still cute as ever! I loved watching these boys interact and simply be boys! Running around racing, hugging each other tight, piling over one another, exploring the nature around them- these boys are awesome! What a sweet family!
Remember seeing sweet Emma here two years ago... and then her little brother came along... and it's already been a whole YEAR?! Where does the time go!? Well, let me tell you, they just keep getting sweeter and sweeter!

I can't tell you how much I enjoy meeting new people like these two little cousins Ada & Cameron and their lucky parents! We had the perfect fall morning together with happy babies and warm sun. Aside from these adorable little people, my favorite part was seeing the pure joy in the faces of the new parents. What a truly beautiful family! They were the sweetest to work with and it is honestly so hard to pick out only a few favorite images... enjoy friends!
I met Sarah when she was still in middle school 5 years ago... she was the bubbly outgoing gal that would talk to everyone and anyone... and lucky for the rest of us, that hasn't changed. The thing I adore about her is that she is so very good at pursuing others and making them feel absolutely loved and at home. She is pursuing great things in life and I couldn't be prouder.
She's simply beautiful.

I had the privilege of meeting fresh little miss Genevieve a few days ago. I just can't get over how darling she is! Every time I have the honor of photographing a brand new baby, I am simply in awe. Those tiny perfect toes, fine little hairs covering her little body, the cute sounds, perfectly formed little lips, nose, eyes, and ears, on and on!
And I think you'll agree, that she was born into the sweetest little family! She has adoring parents and such a good big brother and sister who are all in love with her. She is sure to be doused in kisses! One of my favorite moments today was when three year old Ellie sweetly said, "She's so beautiful mommy." I agree Ellie, your precious baby sister is simply beautiful!

All kinds of smiles for this beautiful family! We ventured to the most beautiful little park with all kinds of wild flowers and weeping willows and let me tell you, these kiddos are just too cute! Their little personalities definitely shone through- you've got your sweet princess that is all smiles for the camera, a little inquisitive beauty that simply enjoyed examining the different types of leaves, and the little explorer who just loved climbing and running around- typical boy, am I right?! And your rockstar mom- so beautiful and such a joy to watch as she tenderly cared for her kiddos. And lastly.... Dad won MVP for the day when he climbed into the tall grasses and wild flowers to reach the special purple flowers for the girls! So very sweet!
Happy 3rd Anniversary to these love birds! They are such a perfect match for each other... he's the charming engineer/history buff and she's his beautiful detailed bride. And I wish I could explain their fun interaction I got to witness while taking these snaps!

There's just something special about the adventurous spirit shared between brothers. These three little guys were the cutest and their individual personalities were coming out left and right! You've got sweet Nicholas, the oldest of the bunch, then Derek who is all about the hugs and kisses and has the cutest dimples that will just melt you, and of course youngest brother Bradley who is inquisitive and isn't bothered by the commotion around him- he's busy doing his own thing! And mom and dad... well, they've got the whole raising boys thing down. Definitely loved spending time with them and seeing all of them love on one another. Aren't they such a beautiful family!?!
